Disposal & Recycling
We dispose of / recycle the following electrical equipment:
- PCB-free oil transformers, converters, and switchgear.
- PCB-containing oil transformers, converters, and switchgear.
- PCB-free capacitors.
- PCB-containing capacitors.
- Old dry cables, oil cables, and joints.
In any case, you will receive a disposal or recycling certificate from a certified specialist company.
For functional PCB-free transformers, there is also the option for purchase. The purchase is made without any warranty or guarantee claims.

Disposal of Transformers
If your transformer is defective or repair is no longer economical, you will receive a disposal offer from us.
If the transformer is PCB-free, we offer a compensation per ton of total weight for disposal.
If the transformer is PCB-containing, we will provide you with an
appropriate disposal offer.
In any case, you will receive a disposal or recycling certificate from a certified specialist company.
Recovery (ReUse) of SF6 gas from switchgear and transformers.
- Vacuuming the SF6 insulating gas from the medium-voltage switchgear and transferring it into special ReUse gas bottles.
- Examination of the SF6 gas for decomposition products; depending on the result, the SF6 gas will be returned to the product cycle or disposed of in a specialized incineration plant.
- Manual disassembly of the switchgear and return of usable components to the economic cycle.
- Creation of a ReUse certificate.

So that SF6 gas does not enter the atmosphere!
The European Regulation (EC) No. 842/2006 on SF6 gases and the German Chemicals Climate Protection Regulation set fundamental requirements for operators of "high-voltage switchgear."
These requirements state that personnel involved in the recovery of SF6 from these equipment must hold a personal certificate.
